We know not all our Fitness Festival Events fans are in Fort Collins and we love to see NoCo unite with the common love of fitness. The Colorado Run is a 10K that takes to the hills of Horsetooth to test your endurance. If you want to do the Murph this year with great company, join the crew at CrossFit DNR and enjoy a BBQ afterwards too. It’s completed by athletes everywhere over Memorial Day Weekend in honor of the fallen soldier-Lt. If you’ve spent much time in a CrossFit Box, you are probably familiar with the legendary Murph workout. Classes are led by the recent graduates of their teacher training so it’s a great chance for them to gain some experience and for you to get a free class! Restorative poses are held up to 10 minutes using props providing the body with total support to completely surrender into each pose. Yin Yoga increases circulation, improves flexibility, and balances the internal organs. Yin Yoga calms and balances the mind and body. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. Yin Yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body-the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine.
